When the skull is elongated from binding the forehead is stretched and pulls the top of eye sockets. These "ancient alien" folks have to believe it because they make money from television series, book deals, alien conventions etc.

If anything, the eyes are smaller

In certain tribes it was common to mate with their siblings and or close relatives and as a result certain genetic mutations can occur. This is one of those genetic deformations. One of them is also the opposite where in terms of the lower jaw line and Chin becomes elongated. I forgot the name of this DNA disease it's more of the DNA degrading because the genetic strand can't be stretched anymore. It is obviously much more that goes into a genetic deformity but this is one of those things where Sweet Home Alabama really meets its definition
